I'm trying to put together an email list of radio stations by state so that with a quick copy and paste into your email you can send requests and try to get the word out about TGF to all your local radio stations.

Email List for PA

ted.minier@bybradio.com; mholder@mlbroadcasting.net; ken.carson@citcomm.com; alburke@wrfy.com; jay@rocky1049.com;  tori@wzzo.com; spike@94wysp.com; Preston@wmmr.com; lkline@mlbroadcasting.net; jeffrey.sottolano@cbsradio.com; mstevens@rocky99.com;alburke@wrfy.com;tommy@rocky1049.com;MORNINGS@1057THEX.COM;ProgramDirector@WMMR.com; scott@wrfy.com ;woody@rocket101.com; danice@rocky1049.com ; christian@realrock104.com;sarah@94wysp.com;studio@wzzo.com; Pierre@wmmr.com;bmaher@mlbroadcasting.net;CARSON@1057.COM; ron@rocket101.com ;

Just copy and paste the above list into your email via BCC and tell them why they need to start playing TGF! rockin.gif

If anybody else is willing to help with this I have 49 states to go so shoot me a PM with your email address. smile.gif

Sorry to nag, but... the email addresses you posted are going to get hit with a ton of spambots. I would be pissed if someone posted my work email address on a public forum.

Maybe you should take that down and offer to PM the email addresses to anyone who wants them.

I agree. Almost all of those email addresses look like they're personal ones.

I'll take them down if you guys really think thats the right thing to do but my thoughts... All the email addresses were obtained via looking at radio station websites. They are out there for anybody that wants to email the personalties at the station. It's not like they were private email addresses that were stolen.

If they were posted on the stations websites they are not personal.

Usually email addresses posted online are posted as images (like facebook) or as janine5683-AT-emailaddress.com (or some similar version of that). Other times the person's name will be hyperlinked to a mailto:. When you click that person's name the link will open up a new message with whatever email system you use. This keeps spam bots from gathering them. Anytime you can copy and paste a whole address will mean you're going to get effed with spam.

They use the -AT- in the first email address you posted.... http://www.bybradio.com/contact.php

If they post their whole address online on their own website I guess it's fair game. But it's kind of a shitty thing to do to other folks who have taken precautions.

I wasn't thinking about the spam bot angle. I'd be more then willing to continue to gather the list and distribute to those interested directly via email. I do have to say I got multiple responses from the email I sent to the PA stations last night. Nobody other then 105.7 the X had heard of them but seemed interested. I sent over the facebook link to the tunes.

If people are interested in participating or helping put together the list let me know.

The Gracious Few – “Honest Man”

Tuesday August 31st 2010 @ 5:00 pm by Sedera Ranaivoarinosy

When you watch this video, the band members’ faces may seem a bit familiar. Although the group was formed just last year, the band isn’t composed of total newcomers: The Gracious Few is the reunion of Chad Taylor, Chad Gracey and Patrick Dahlheimer of Live and Candlebox’s Kevin Martin and Sean Hennesy.

The song “Honest Man” is the first single off their upcoming self-titled debut due out next month. It is a fairly simple performance video set in what we all imagine a band’s rehearsal space looks like: small, with cool rugs on the floor and dramatically lit. The camera closely follows the band members around as they give their all in their performance. The closeness to the band and impressive light tricks showcase The Gracious Few’s tremendous raw energy and excitement. The whirlwind of images will have you wanting to scream and jump around with them.

and a comment from Kevin: this is indeed our rehersing place!
