I've been drinking heavily but that just sounded like an awful stilted cover band playing the song.

Ed should stay away from the heavily guitar based songs.

Yes, this one indeed was horribly ruined... And I must admit I am sooooo sad for now.

Anyway, I think Adam did sound very solid. And I want him to front that band. Boogoga

Ok cool. I think perhaps that one should have been left out of the set list. Not sure we'd hear a good white discussion either

Ed may have his band well in tune to play his new stuff........the old? Not sold. I couldn't resist posting this:

Debby Kuipers - Ed and his new band are very good. Better as his old band. I saw them the 5th of May in Amsterdam and in Haarlem. And Grace is a beautiful number live. In september i'm going to Paradiso. Ed and his band come this summer in the Netherlands!!!!

I too like the original better because it reminds me of the old days jumping up and down it at the concerts.
However I don't know that the difference between this one and the original is because the "new" band is not up to it. I would suggest that Ed's target market is a little different to that of Live and that he is trying to make this song fit into his setlist of less hard rock music. Besides if it sounded exactly the same what would be the point?

I told you all to stay away from any of the recordings of LJ with the new band about a week ago or so already.. You were all warned nod.gif

Dammit. Compare this recording with the recording of Live @ Rock am Ring 2000. Dammit. Just, dammit!!!!!!

It sounds fine to me and probably 99 percent of the audience at the show it was recorded.

Which sounded like it would be about 7 people?

These people, and yourself, have a very, VERY low standard when it comes to music .. no wonder the music industry is in such a mess when people are happy to just be spoon fed trash and accept it as "fine".
God the amount of absolute QUALITY musicians out there, guys that would even put CT, CG and PD to shame is incredible, and you're happy with this??
