Call me biased but I hope one of the tweaks is they change "they took my friends they took my love" back to "they took my drugs." The song has a harsh edge and the original lyric just fit in so well with it.

I hope so too. I liked it that way, very catchy refrain, it stays in your head. Love & love sound redundant.

I agree that "drugs" gives it a harder edge but it doesn't really make much sense. I mean Kevin has always railed against drugs in his lyrics.

I don't think they'd be changing that though considering that the single is already out. It is alarming that things are being tweaked now though, as now whatever gets tweaked will need to be re-mixed and re-mastered. Lets just hope it is something minor.

I guess the album will be better as a result but DAMMIT I AM READY TO ROOOCK. No more delays!!

On the lyrics, I think it is:

"I am left with an empty hand" in the second verse.
"with a riot in mind"

I also think it should say "<badass CT guitar solo!!!>" instead of just "<solo>"

On the lyrics, I also think that it is "these foul lines." It is hard to hear it audibly, but it seems more logical that he wouldn't be spitting lies about his own problems. Just a thought.

Also, not to be nitpicky but you left the exclamation points off the part about the solo. I mean, I think that is pretty important right?

I thought it was referencing the lies you hear on the news, from politicians etc saying that things are getting better. Of course I could just be over-identifying with the song. The "these foul lies" is a small change up in the last chorus anyways, it's a "their foul lies" in the first two as far as I can hear.
