While I was sitting at my desk working away, I thought of something that Chad wrote in one of his two letters to us fans.

"Bands are lucky if they have one hit and fade away but in the case of Live, you kept us relevant for more than 20 years."

I think we could also thank THEM for making us, their fans relevant for more than 20 years. All we did was be there to enjoy their gift of music, for the entire world to devour and embrace. I don't believe that people think they HAVE to have a favorite band and will pick one, just to say they have one. For me, it has always been 100% +Live+. I didn't choose to have a favorite band to claim or follow......I was just at the right place at the right time to hear my first Live song. I am relevant as a fan.......as a person, because of Ed, Chad, Patrick and CAG.

Fans are lucky if they have one favorite band that has a hit and fades away but in the case of myself, you have kept me relevant for more than 20 years.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.....

Mark

I've been listening to everything like crazy since I heard the hiatus announcement early fall....I've been distancing from listening since everything got stale in 2004.

It's therapudic, even though this time the music is therapudic to the Live situation where before a lot of us take this music to heart for our own personal life experiences and challenges. This time its to say thanks to Live for all the great music.

Actually, Chad really stated that the fans kept them relevant. So, yes, I think they were relevant to the fans indeed

Relevant on a personal level to fans of the music - most definitely and to some always will be.

Relevant in the great scheme of things - not for about 15 years to be honest.

Relevant to me - suppose so as I'm still here bashing them. thumbsup.gif
