great show last night. Ed performed great. Interacted a lot with the audiance. Premiered a new Live song! I think it is called "Lift me up to Zion." not sure if it is "take me up" Anyway......AMAZING song! Can't wait to hear it with full band. Ed was in lower regester for the song .... reminds me of TC days. After show, he jumped into audiance for an extended meet and great!

No it was not purify. Been a long time fan since Mental Jewelery . It was completely new. He stated it was on an upcoming album. Another audiance member asked if "Hold me up" would also be released. He replied "Oh it will be released!'
It was amazing show.

Weird .. a song possibly called Lift me up to Zion when a new song has the line "Take me up to zion" and the recently brought back song is Lift me up, or hold me up ... it's like he's combining the two

Sounds pretty exciting to me - little weird combining lyrics and titles - but "hold me up" to be released could never be a bad thing!!!! music.gif

I'm not doubting your Live-fan-ness smile.gif but can it be, that it was indeed Purifier (not Purify), as was questioned earlier in this thread. Because, Ed's explanation you told us ("it was on a new album"), can also mean the Live at the Paradiso CD. Because Ed is reffering not only to it as "our DVD", but also often as "a new record" and "new album". Just asking, but maybe it's that song. To get things clear: you know the live Paradiso cd right? That line is EXACTLY from Purifier. It would be weird if Ed is using the same lyrics in different songs. Although, he's done it before ("these women in the street, pullin' out their hair"). But back on topic: If you really know the song Purifier, and know how it sounds, I guess we really have a new song. wow.gif

I assure you it was not Purifier. He sated that this is a sone on an Upcoming album. I have LATP. I am saying this completely non defensively when I say........I NEVER HEARD THE SONG BEFORE! It was amazing. I feel kind of like a top dog today on this site since I am breaking this news! This is no joke. In atlantic city, they opened with purifier and did peerform hold me up...which by the way is amazing. I have followed them sinece the early 90's. I have unmedicated OCD, therefore I search this site daily for new music.
I tell you it had nothing to do with purifier with the exception of the Zion thing!

o'right, o'right! I'm convinced!! lol.gif Just wanted to make sure it really wasn't Purifier. But damn omg.gif , a new song, that (if I can believe you) sounded - even acoustic and solo - in lower regester reminding you of TC days. Imagine what the fullband version may be!
