I love Seether; who else does? They write some really kicking tunes and some heart wrenching acoustic ballad types. An unsung band, for me.

To be fair, it's no less mature than throwing a big blanket over someone who takes influence from and happens to sound a bit like Cobain. Those kind of throaway comments (Oh, hm, he's a Cobain clone hur hur hur) are totally ignorant and plain dumb. So if you're one of them, then yeah.

Foe those who have Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces; what are you favourite songs off that album? I think it's really solid pretty much all the way through, but I really do love Fake It. Call me a commerical sucker, but the swing and jive is quite infectious. Like Suicide is also a classic Seether tune.

Gonna admit, whilst they both sing (or sang, Cobain, natch) with that grungy sound, they don't sound THAT similar. Shaun is gruffer. Kurt was weedier/hollower.

The new album... Holding Onto Strings better Left to Fray... dropped TODAY.

Anybody else checked it out? I really like it - quite melodic this time around, a touch lighter overall and without a Gasoline or Remedy... but it's quite good, I think.
