After the success of the MTV Unplugged DVD (157 completed downloads to date and counting) I have uploaded the Shepherds Bush Empire 2003 DVD to mediafire.

IPB Image

Filmed at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London, England on 27th June 2003 - this is one of the best audience shot DVDs you will ever see. Dangum has uploaded some screenshots here.

The disc is sourced from the original miniDV and includes a full menu and chapters.

The total image file size is 4.27 GB, zipped down to 4.15 GB and broken up into 99 MB RAR pieces (for those not familiar with RAR format, free extractor available at http://www.win-rar.com/downloadnow.html).

Once downloaded and extracted (note you have to download all pieces before you can extract them), simply burn the ISO image file to DVD using Nero or other compatible burning software.

So for those of you with patience and high/no download limits, here's the link:

Thanks must go to the original taper Master8uk, river_rage for dvd-authoring and dangum for providing me with a copy of the disc.

Source info:

Good work Brad!

Please note this is a PAL encoded DVD. If you were able to play the MTV Unplugged disc on your TV then this DVD will be fine. If you had troubles playing MTV Unplugged on your TV, then I'm afraid you'll only be able to play this one on your PC.

Here's a YouTube clip from this show:

Thanks for uploading the dvd.It looks really good. I was able to download everything except for Part 10.I tried several times but the same error appears. It says something about their servers not having the data. Could it be a broken link or does the file need to be uploaded? Thanks.

Thanks for this!! lol.gif

I had the same problem, part 10 just wasn't happening.

Part five also refused to download at anything faster than about 10kbs. Painfully slow.

Also in Holland (at least at my computer) part 10 won't download (server not ready ??)
I also noticed some files being smaller than the 99 MB.
Tonight I will try again and hopefully it will work.
Wish me luck !! hehe.gif

yay.gif

ADD: 2009-02-24 --> Last two pieces (Nr 05 and 43) are not able (for me) to download --> restriction in bandwidth.
I keep on trying.

Hmmm, seems like mediafire isn't as reliable as we all thought...

The ones you mention Dan all seem to be working now - I think it's a case of some of them being stored on different servers that may or may not be available at any given time.

So if anyone has an issue with any of the files, sorry to say but the solution is to simply wait a bit and try again shrug.gif

Once I get this downloaded, I'll make an NTSC version (have one made for the MTV Unplugged) and upload it for the westerners.
