Hot on the heels of this weekend's 13th annual Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg comes the first Launch Music Conference, at Lancaster's Hotel Brunswick April 16-19.

Run by local music vets Jeremy Weiss and Rick Gadd, the event will feature panels led by booking agents, managers, musicians, and others and musical appearances by the band Comic Book Heroes (in Binns Park) and Philadelphia's Paul Green School of Rock.

Live's Chad Taylor and ex-Danzig bassist Eerie Von will be among the featured panelists.

More than 150 artists will present showcase concerts at venues around the hotel at 151 N. Queen St., and each night will be capped off with national acts performing at Lancaster's Chameleon Club.
