With all of the excitement over the new CD / DVD information being released I just realized this is being overlooked.

Why the hell can Lift Me Up apprear in a movie but not be released on the soundtrack or new album?

This has to be legal bullshit! eh.gif

Perhaps they're saving it for the "Deluxe 15 Year Anniversary Edition of Throwing Copper" in 2009? happy.gif

Anyhoo, I thought I'd try and be clever and track down a bootleg copy of the Zack & Miri movie. I came across this torrent...

http://www.torrentportal.com/torrents-deta...5701&filelist=1

...downloaded the .rar file only to find it's password protected angry.gif

This message accompanies the file:

====================================
HoW TO GET THE PASSWORD
====================================

1) Go to http://2dpics.com/pass.htm

2) Once you fill out the short form you will receive an email,

3) The password is the missing word:

"Be sure to check out our [xxxxxxxxx] videos all for free!"

the password is the missing word in the above sentence

- It's as simple as that!

...which takes you to an "adult community" sarcasm.gif called rude.com, and once you've filled out the form and receive the email, the sentence above isn't even there dagnamit! bomb.gif

So after some googling I found suggestions for all the obvious guesses: rude, awesome, hottest, but alas, all to no avail. banghead.gif

Aaaaanyhoo - either I'm in possession of a 700mb PASSWORD LOCKED video that contains the movie scene in question with "Hold Me Up" (yay.gif) or... I dunno.... a 700mb high definition Barack Roll video? (devil2.gif)

...

I'm pretty sure it's fake. It's a common tactic to password protect up-coming movies and then force the user to visit a site to get the 'password' - The problem is there is no password and whatever is inside the archive is probably not what you think it is.

If you want to try and crack the .rar file password. then check out various brute force password crackers.
Something like, http://www.rarpasswordcracker.com/
Personally, I think it's a waste of time smile.gif

Yeah, it's a fake. Don't bother with it or downloading anything password-protected as such in the future.

Maybe somebody could bang Kevin Smith for the song. Not it. tongue.gif

Well, Nick came close, as he's been receptive to Kevin Smith's dong for a while now just like he has every other guy in Jersey. However, I don't consider being on the receiving end "banging," so I guess we'll have to wait. Not it either.

hmmm I don't think a "15 Year Anniversary Edition of Throwing Copper" is going to happen actually. It didn't happen in 2004, when TC was 10 years old. Than again, they had already a collectors cd out (Awake) so well who knows.
I only doubt if it would do any well. Live doesn't sell as many records as in the 90ies.
On the other hand, TC was one of the grande albums in the 90ies...
We'll see!

I'd much rather see Susquehanna on a 15th anniversary disc. Lift me up sounds like SS to me but Susquehanna is totally TC. cool.gif
