There is a rumor that Collective Soul will be playing Tom's Riverfest on August 3rd. If so, I would think Live would be there as well. Anyone know more?

Carrie Underwood will headline Saturday’s schedule with Lifehouse, Push Play, The Lost Trailers, and Mr. Ray also performing. On Sunday, Daughtry will headline and Avril Lavigne, Live, and Collective Soul will also perform. In addition to concerts, patrons will enjoy carnival and musical attractions for children, a food court, BMX bike demonstrations, a video arcade, and numerous community-oriented exhibits and displays.

Tickets, priced at $35 for general admission, $50 for bleachers, and $75 for VIP seating packages, go on sale Saturday, May 10th at 10 a.m. through www.ticketmaster.com, www.trfest.com, Ticketmaster Phone Charge at (201) 507-8900 and (609) 520-8383, and the Ritacco Center Box Office located at 1144 Hooper Avenue. A limited two-day general admission pass will also be available for $60.

I have a bad feeling that Daughtry and Live's sets will overlap and be in different venues. If not, do you think Ed could be playing with Daughtry in NJ?

How is the concert being set up?

There are two stages of music at each day of Toms River Fest: The Main Stage features premium floor and bleacher seating, plus a general admission area. The Day Stage is all general admission.

On Saturday, August 2nd, the "Main Stage" will feature Carrie Underwood and The Lost Trailers. The "Day Stage" will feature Lifehouse, Push Play and more acts to be announced. Children's musician mr. RAY will be performing inside the Poland Spring Arena complex, which will also feature arcade games, activities and a place to "chill out."

On Sunday, August 3rd, Daughtry and Avril Lavigne will appear on the Main Stage, while Live, Collective Soul and other artists to be announced will appear on the Day Stage. The Poland Spring Arena complex will also feature activities, arcade games and more live music.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What are my concert ticket options?

There are three ticketing options, each of which afford you entry to the entire festival.

- The $75 premium seating option provides you with a seat directly in front of the "Main Stage" area, plus general admission to the day stage area.

- The $50 bleacher ticket affords you a bleacher seat on the left or right-hand sides of the field directly in front of the Main Stage, plus general admission to the day stage area.

- The $35 general admission ticket affords you entry into the general admission area of the Main Stage, plus the Day Stage.

Plus, a limited number of discounted, two-day general admission passes will be available for $60.

Notes from show:

-Daughtry performed with Live on stage during I Walk the Line. It was a very cool moment, but to me Chris came off a tad full of himself. Maybe it was just me.

-Show was very good for a festival and there was a huge crowd for the band. A lot of joking around on stage. It is very different seeing a show in the afternoon than at night. You see everything that goes on, its a bit weird.

-No Simple Creed, but they played The Distance, Iris, Run to the Water and Shittown. Otherwise it was all standard stuff. No real encore, the band played for 90 minutes straight.

- I bet Ed will do a song with Daughtry tonight, but I was way too tired to stay and find out. Hopefully some video will surface if he does.

-Some of the guys from Collective Soul were hanging by their bus for at least a hour after their set. Pretty cool. Ed Roland was watching Live's set and grooving a bit to Dolphin's Cry.

Anyone have anything else?

I was there yesterday, great show. We got there late and I see we missed The Distance...oops!
I thought Lakini's Juice was cool with the megaphone.

Nick...you should have stayed. Ed got up on stage with Daughtry and they sang Helter Skelter together. It sounded great! The fireworks were awesome too!

hey Nick, I think I found a video of the thing you wrote about Daughtry coming on stage to perform Walk the Line together with Live.

Live ft. Chris Daughtry - I walk the Line

it's not awesome quality but still fine. Btw, this gotta be the first time that Live & Chris are performing I walk the Line together! Pretty cool, if you realise what covering that single song did on AI back in 2006. Ohw, wait, now I think about it. This is the first time Live & Chris are performing a song at all (since Mystery at AI), isn't?

Was wondering if anyone has a recording of this show (audio or video) I didn't get to tape it myself but would love to get a copy if possible!
