"The kind people over at Live have given us a few copies of Live "Radiant Sea" to give out to 3 lucky winners.

Details: Recently, LIVE put out an album, titled “Radiant Sea: A Collection of Bootleg Rarities and Two New Song.” It is actually not being considered an official album release.... it is more of a self-release bootleg. It is the band’s second self-release on their Action Front Records label. It is only available for purchase via Live's official online store and at live performances.

The CD includes 10 live bootleg tracks along with 2 new, exclusive songs. The track list is:

Wow, this has to be the contest of the century! Win a "Radiant Sea" CD -- they must not have put the ARV (approximate retail value) on this contest because it would be through the roof!

I think this is a bigger advertisement for this site than it is for Live. If this is what promotion under the new label looks like I am scared for the next album.

I think that if they wanted to have a chance at actually selling a new album at any type of significant success they would have to find a label.

The self promotion will only work with the core fanbase and a few people who stumble across it.

Be careful when you enter "contests" from Friends of Live. Most times you have to make a purchase in order to receive an entry ... which is considered a lottery ... and illegal in PA. In order for it to be a legal contest, they have to say "no purchase necessary". It has to be completely unrelated to the sale of merchandise.
