Sofia...I need ya..., Songs From Black Mountain album... Options

So over this extended weekend (with the holiday and all), I've been catching up on studying for my Microbio. class and I put in my album "Songs from Black Mountain." I totally love every Live song, but I've really taken a liking to "Sofia". Oh and yeah, I was looking at the possible tour dates! I'm totally excited with the thought that Live will be going on tour again. I'm from the Atlanta area and I can only recall Live coming to GA two or at most three times in the past 5 years or so! Please come south! If not, I'm totally off to D.C.

Sofia was such a wasted opertunity .. if the guitars were a bit edgier .. if they included the awesome intro they did on the later tour dates and if it was about 10mins long with a real instrumental awesome jam session in it this song could have been amazing .. yeah some of the lyrics are lame, but most of Live's are now, but then again it has some good lines in it too .. shame

I hope he isn't... live needs to make longer songs instead of this 3 minute long pop trash. Most of my fav songs last over 8 mins easily.

I don't care if the songs are longer or not, I just want chord progressions that don't sound like an intermediate band, some passion, better lyrics and better production. If they write some longer songs then great, but if it's the same style as the absolute garbage from the last two albums, then all they'll be doing is prolonging the pain.

Not that I've made it through the whole of SFBM more than once.

Wings is not bad, but not really an highlight on the album i think.

Sofia, Show and Night of Nights are the only 3 that are really good enough, and well maybe Mysteriiieeeyyeeie (commercially), and yeah maybe also Love Shines

but that's it!
