How are we supposed to know what Live are going to add?

If you know something or have heard a rumour then post it - don't waste your time on a poll where 99% of people voting have no idea.

I guess dangum would like you to rephrase the question to "If Live were to magically mess with the setlist, what song would you like Live to put in this fall?"

Yeah, something like that... laugh.gif

So, lets get a recap of the 'new' songs Live have added to their this year...

1. God Don't Never Change - they played this a couple of times at the beginning of their tour and then forgot about it. Luckily, we've got a recording (albeit a poor one) of this.
2. Dam at Otter Creek - as above. They opened the show with it a couple of times and then replaced it with All Over You.
3. Where Do We Go from Here? - Well it's always good to see a track debut. Remember when with every album 90% of the tracks would be performed in a concert? Nowadays we're lucky if 50% make it to a show..
4. Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd - now this was something to get excited about! More of this please!

I guess someone's in a bad mood today.

I haven't heard a rumor about what songs the band may add on this tour. I just figure the band will mix up the setlist a bit for their headlining shows and took the songs that they played before the Triple Play and two unreleased songs that they are rumored to release soon.

Its just a poll, perhaps a poorly thought-up poll, but please lighten up.

It's really hard to imagine which one it will be, and if there will me an addition at all...
I think it would be very cool to hear Radiant Sea or Beautiful Invincible in concert in the comin' months, but since we don't even know what to think of those songs (nobody knew they existed at all, from which era are they, will they definitely be released at a rumoured b-side album), I think it's unlikely! But there's a chance (if they are really released) to perform those songs to promote the new album (especially cause Dutch radio said there would be new Live single(s) at the end of the year). Just like WDID and I walk the line were suddenly played in dec.2004, while those were also songs that existed for many years.
I think the best is bring that God don't never change cover back.

When did you hear this? It would rock if we get new Live material this year.

Lift Me up - why it wasnt included on TC, I'll never know. But it is old school Live and this track would make people sit up and take notice again.

yeah, my perfect scenario would be: lLive is releasing a ive/outtakes/b-side album, with those two 'new' songs, and some other b-sides, including Lift me Up (the good version of Mallrat that they still keeping 'to release at the right moment', as they said). Well and than Lift me Up releasing as a single. That song will be played at radio for sure, you can count on that. And it also has the TC-feeling, also for people who forget about Live. TC-songs always do well nod.gif chech the release of We Deal in Dreams (at least, in Holland it did quite well, 10 years after TC eyebrow.gif )

I think they will replace Walk The Line with God Don't Never Change. I hate to speculate 'cause I'm usually wrong. It would be cool if they could play Lift Me Up. guitar.gif

Playing Vicious Crowd every nite for christ sakes instead of mixing it in and out would be nice (while also keeping Rattlesnake in the mix)..................I still haven't had the pleasure of this classic tune live. After watching Brothers Unaware on You Tube circa 1992, that song would be a great add down the road, too. And just rolling through the rest of these dates with Otter Creek as the opener would be a cool. One of the two new tunes is probable I'd say....I can't wait to get this CD in the mail.
