I voted "other" my favorite song is Like I Do. I love everything about it especially the bass and the guitar riffs. Though it makes my eyes go a little buzzy if the volume is too loud .

Feel The Quiet River Rage

this song seems to have the largest impression on me. Gas Hed Goes West came very, very close, however it seems that the song is only as impressive as FTQRR in my opinion if i'm in a particular mood.

Feel The Quiet River Rage to me shows Live's certain 'energy' well in capsuled into one song, not to mention that its quite passionate. This is a song that i think would be insanely good when performed live, maybe they'll consider it some day? *nudge nudge wink wink*

I love all of Live's work, from DOAD and MJ to SFBM, although it is surely not the same fondness that i have for each, i love them all the same
Hence threads like this, damn its sort of like trying to choose between best, lifelong friends, or something... at least for me

P.S: has anyone managed to find a bootleg of them playing Mother Earth Is A Vicious Crowd recently? I bet that not only myself but just about everyone on this board would love to hear that!

I can't vote. Too many songs in that list are my favorites. There isn't one that I like more than the other. I guess I could pick Selling the Drama since that song started this madness for me.

Run to the Water, The Dolphin's Cry, I Alone, Selling the Drama, Operation Spirit, etc.

Too many to name an absolute favorite.

Too bad I can't say the entireity (sp?) of Secret Samadhi.

But when it comes down to it, I have to vote for Like I Do.

I think it is the most kick ass, rock out song LIVE has ever done. The break in the middle of the song where Ed sings "don't leave" gives me the chills....then the tune just blasts right back into faster paced rock. I love that song and in my mind there is only one song that even comes close.

That being White Discussion, another kick you in the head rock song with wailing guitars and kick ass beats on the drums.

13 years later, and I still crank it all the way up when I'm driving or on my sound system at home. Not a good song if you get road rage easily though, I must say that.

Like I Do is a very good song that I really haven't listened to that much. White, Discussion is one of my top 5 favorites.

I had to vote for Selling The Drama. That was the first Live song I heard and it still is my favorite (just edging out Lakini's Juice). One great thing is that they play it every time I see them.
