As I read the various messages and reviews of the shows in the last week, a few questions pop into my head. For those who have attended the Triple Play concerts, can you please give those of us who are attending future shows some insight on the following (I know each venue / city is different, but a general idea is always great!):

*How early are you getting in line (most shows start at 6:30p)?
*Are you finding the early, the better seat, close to the stage?
*Did you purchase tix through the CC pre-sale fan club and/or newsletter? If so, you got in earlier than everyone else. How did that work out?
*Venues that do have seats on the field - are there a lot of seats? Really close to the stage? Do they get filled up first - or are people more into the stands? Equal seating?
*Has anyone gotten there right before the show and gotten a good seat?
*Are people more or less sticking to their seat? If CS is done, are CS fans allowing LIVE fans to get close?
*Is the venue making you sit in a seat or if you want to be on the field but stand in the back, can you?
*Are people standing and getting into the music or just sitting down (you know how some people get when someone in front of them wants to stand during a show!)?
*Are you encountering an equal amount of fans for each band?
*Are you bringing in a camera? TM site states no camera. What about video cell phones? Is security beating down on people taking pics?
*Has anyone tried to meet up w/the band at their bus or the like? Are these shows different in "accessing" the band than a regular music venue?

Okay, that's all I can think for the time being! Please feel free to add your questions and/or feedback! hi.gif

The Triple Play tour hasn't actually started yet. The shows that people are reviewing are just Live/Collective soul shows that they are playing seperate from that tour. I think the Triple Play tour starts July 22nd but I'm not sure.

This is a great idea for a thread though and I hope people will answer a lot of those questions once the shows start.

All excellent questions! Can't wait until the official Triple Play launches. I have an add-on to this question---will +Live+ stay through CC's performance, or leave after their set?

*How early are you getting in line (most shows start at 6:30pm)?
- For both shows I've been to I got there about 4:00-4:30ish and there was only about 20 people in front of me.

*Are you finding the early, the better seat, close to the stage?
- At both I was at the rail.

*Did you purchase tix through the CC pre-sale fan club and/or newsletter? If so, you got in earlier than everyone else. How did that work out?
- When I bought the pre-sale FOL tickets to the Erie concert the tickets were printed as CC pre-sale so I was able to get in at 5:00 instead of at 5:30.

*Venues that do have seats on the field - are there a lot of seats? Really close to the stage? Do they get filled up first - or are people more into the stands? Equal seating?
- At both fields that I was at there were no actual seats on the field, it was like any other GA concert that you stand for. It seemed like a lot of people were waiting in the stands and it wasn't until Live came on that they where really coming on to the field.

*Are people more or less sticking to their seat? If CS is done, are CS fans allowing LIVE fans to get close?
- At the Eastlake concert people were really nice about moving for the different fans but at Erie it was everyone for themselves.

*Are you encountering an equal amount of fans for each band?
- I met a really nice CS fan from Ohio yesterday but I didn't really talk to any CC fans.

*Are you bringing in a camera? TM site states no camera. What about video cell phones? Is security beating down on people taking pics?
- Cameras were allowed at both concerts I went to.

*Has anyone tried to meet up w/the band at their bus or the like? Are these shows different in "accessing" the band than a regular music venue?
- It didn't seem like either band stuck around the venue after their set ended but I may be wrong.
Hope this helps.

Guess I should answer my OWN questions! Ha! lol.gif These are based on the Indy show last Saturday:

*How early are you getting in line (most shows start at 6:30p)? 4pm. There was a small line but it was manageable
*Are you finding the early, the better seat, close to the stage? Even with early entry and not being first in line, we were still right up front
*Did you purchase tix through the CC pre-sale fan club and/or newsletter? If so, you got in earlier than everyone else. How did that work out? Had early entry tickets for FW - not for Indy
*Venues that do have seats on the field - are there a lot of seats? Really close to the stage? No seats on the field - people were mixed between field and seats
*Are people more or less sticking to their seat? If CS is done, are CS fans allowing LIVE fans to get close? Didn't see anyone leave after CS, other than to buy a beer and/or use the restroom. People pretty much stuck to their spot. We left our post after LIVE.
*Are people standing and getting into the music or just sitting down (you know how some people get when someone in front of them wants to stand during a show!)? See my comment under the Indy post for non-LIVE fan reaction ...
*Are you encountering an equal amount of fans for each band? See question above
*Are you bringing in a camera? TM site states no camera. What about video cell phones? Is security beating down on people taking pics? Yes, I had my camera. They were checking bags but no mention of "no cameras"
