I saw this thread yesterday before the link to the video was added.

I envisioned the commercial being some bright red, giant supersize diesel Ford pickup going down a well populated street with people sitting outside drinking coffee chatting. Suddenly they go quiet and in unison they all "turn their heads" allow their eyes to follow the truck as it continues down the street.

After seeing the commercial, it was nothing what I expected!!

Oh well, Ford used +Live+ so that rocks.

Was that the most pointless commercial ever?

Whoa, kinda like that one. They really took the painting concept from the music video and just went nuts smile.gif

Does anyone know what they are saying in the last part of the commercial? 'Cause I don't get the connection between the ad and Ford laugh.gif

Great use of the song, but where's the car?

Perhaps they should use my avatar!! It's a Ford of course! (by the way, rego plates on car say 'LIVE 2').

Leigh.

Hi Fredrik!
This is a (very free) translation of the last part of the commercial:

"To live is much more than a formal appearance in the Earth.
To live is to move.

Keep movin'."

My english is not quite good, but "keep movin'" is the basic concept of the commercial (by the way, it's institutional, not for any specific product).

Greetings!
Scar

Ah, very nice. Yeah, I got that it was an ad for the company and not a specific model, but I still couldn't really get the connection without the words.

Thanks for the translation, much appritiated! hi.gif
