I soooo digging Mika. I'm gonna have to get his album this weekend. Kinda broke now sad.gif . Gotta wait till then. cry.gif

Reminds me of the Scissor Sisters. I downloaded the album earlier after I saw this thread and I like it. I've been getting into some different kinds of music lately.

Raine is wonderful. She is the cutest sweetest baby ever! Not that I'm biased or anything!

I checked out that myspace page. I have heard "Love Today" before I just didn't know who it was. His music is different which is good. He reminds me of the Scissor Sisters like Jacob said.

I like Mika.

I hate the Scissor Sisters, however.

But Mika. Yes.

I drove with a workmate over to Melbourne last weekend and she brought along his album to listen to. Had it not have been for that, I wouldn't have heard it or taken any real interest in his work.
That being said, we listened to it several times over and I bloody loved it! I now have me a copy of the CD too smile.gif

Mika makes me laugh my head off and for that, I love him! I don't think I'd buy his album but it cheers me up when I hear him on the TV or radio and if I'm at home I sing along and boogie round the room. It's just nice to see/hear someone not taking themselves too seriously and having a good time.

Funnily enough, I don't like the Scissor Sisters either.

My co-workers were resistant to his Mika~ness when i first started playing it at work. But now theyre dancing and humming along to the songs. Even some of the customers too. They all do a double take when I tell them its my CD. You should see the surprised look on their faces. HAHAHA Fuckers!

Havent gotten to the scissor sisters yet. I'll hit up their myspace ( I'm sure they have one )soon.

EDIT: Ok, checked them out and definately see the similarities between them and Mika. But I'm not feeling them. Sorry, not a fan. But then again, I'm not really a fan of this type of music. What got me into Mika was his personality. I heard about him on perezhilton.com watched more interviews on youtube, liked him, watched him live peformances became a FAN then ran out and bought the CD. He is just so cheeky and loads of fun tongue2.gif
