I know someone who is a HUGE +LIVE+ fan and is turning 50...he wants to get back stage
to meet the band
and I was going to take him to see them in Allentown...
does anyone who wins passes ever sell them?
or what is the best way to get a pass?

You best bet at getting a pass is to join the fanclub. Sometimes they give them away with contests. You could just try waiting by the bus after the show. Sometimes you'll get lucky and catch them.

I know that the meet and greets that you win are non-transferable, so only the person who won them is able to pick them up at the window.

the response I got was to join Homespun and enter the contests.
when I met Live for the first time at The Riv in Chicago I luckily ran into a security guard who was friends with my best friend and he hooked me up.
guess I'll have to go that route again this Saturday.

I said it on SOY and I'll say it here.

This is really tacky.

Giving out Jimmy's name like that is just wrong, especially since everyone knows he's been taking a break from the band.

Too say he'd be more then willing to fork over meet and greets to some random person he doesn't even know is just ludicrous.

Yes Jimmy has been known to hook up fans in the past, and almost all those fans have been in the fanclub.

That's your best bet. The fanclub.
