Could have been worse - Ed could have accurately remembered where he was and come out dressed like the chef off The Muppet Show.

How great would that have been if, in the middle of I Alone where he often slips in bits of other songs, he'd have started singing "Hurdy burdy burrrrdy, hum boik boik boik" and chased a chicken round the stage with a meat cleaver.
