Sorry for the silly poll but that seems to be popular around here!

For me it would have to be Edward. All of his recent song writing is very questionable.

this is going to spark heaps of replys of "NONE OF THEM SHOULD LEAVE!" can I get in early and ask no one to reply like this, this might be a silly poll but "none of them" isn't an answer on it so it'd be more interesting to see which of the 4 people think the band could do without most . Of course that answer would win in a landslide if it were one of the options, but what would be the point of even having the poll if you 100% knew the outcome .. so pick one of the above!

I myself would go for Gracey .. he's a very good drummer, but he doesn't really have much to his name in the writing process .. ok so none besides Ed has recently, but even before that. There are also a lot of good drummers out there which could replace. It'd be interesting to see how it'd effect the group though.

I voted for Gracey too. I love the guy, but there's no Live without Ed (even though his writing isn't what it used to be), Mr. Taylor is a great gitarplayer (Live just wouldn't be the same without him) and Dahlheimer is (next to being a good bassplayer) one hell of a very cool dude! IPB Image

But I'm glad this is just a silly poll and no one of them really has to leave.

Stop it - that's Hoodstocks' job.

Personally, I would miss Chad Taylor the least. His stage presence is fantastic, but he's a mediocre guitar player at best. Adam K could more than fill his shoes and is a far better guitarist & vocalist all round. I also think he'd be the easiest to replace seeing as they don't have a 'spare' drummer or bassist for tours. Ed, of course, is irreplaceable - he's one of the most entertaining front men out there and always has been.

Really, though, one of the things about live is the continuity of the line up. I think I'd rather them call it a day than lose any one of them.

That's a tough one but I would say Taylor. I love him and all but he really isn't doing anything on the guitar that couldn't easily be done by a replacement guitarist. I would not give that same answer if he was still in on the writing process but since he isn't I think he would be easiest to replace.

The 2 people people said it all. Taylor has been pushed out of the writing process and he is not a good guitar player. He must be a good entertainer to hide it a bit. So he is the one that I would miss left, but hey! A Live show is with the four of them, or it's not a Live show!

I heard Pat's cool and all but lately his basslines are either sleeping.gif or almost nonexistent. He needs to wake up!

If we're being honest, Live is Ed with some musicians behind him. Anyone but Ed could leave and the band could get a replacement.

Funy you should say that about Pat waking up. The only time I've been to a Live gig, I was stood right in front of Pat and he literally never opened his eyes... sleep-bassing! lol.gif

True today, maybe, but it wasn't always like that.

This thread and poll has already been done! [u]

I know, I made it. Check the boards before you post! It was this summer asking who Live could most afford to lose.
