This was a good one. Nice pictures, nice sound. Filmed with only one camera.

This will only happen if it is tied to a new record. Not enough people would buy it by itself. I feel bad for Live, if they had all this dvd crap 10 yrs ago then they could have racked up a few more million.

My god. What the fuck? 'little unknown stupid f*cking bands'????

Ok then. You just go watch your U2 dvds. Yes, some small bands suck, but just success isn't a realistic measure of quality.

There aren't many live music DVD's that I actually enjoy. In fact, I can only think of two that I really like;

Pain of Salvation- Be (most amazing performance ever, by a band far more talented than U2)
Muse- Hullabaloo (pretty intense, not for everyone, but I enjoy it. Apart from Matts guitar work, some great performances)

I don't particularly care if Live release a DVD or not, because my expectation is that it will be quite boring.

I didn't mean to call unknown bands stupid, I more tried to say that almost every band or music making group or whatever, releases a dvd of a performance.

And no, I don't like U2 at all (so why would I watch it ?), but it was meant as an example, oke?! U2 is a very famous band, that's why I compared that with little bands or bands that I maybe even don't like ('little unknown stupid f*cking bands' sorry for my rude discription of them) but offcourse I know that a small band isn't the same as a band that sucks: many bands, famous or not famous have released a dvd, why Live not? that's wat I tried to say.

Haha, fair enough, I took the 'great' before Queen to mean U2 were also great. And I do know what you mean- Live should have released a DVD by now.

I'd have to both agree and disagree with Alex........Muse - Hullabaloo is possibly the best music dvd to date.....I saw them at BDO last night and once again didn't dissappoint....it was mad.

But you don't care if they don't release a DVD? As a harcore live fan i'd love to have an official LIVE dvd to add to my collection which i'm sure would be alot better than the bits and pieces i've collected over the years....I'm sure that it can't be so boring to the point of being un-watchable.

Interview 2000-05-21

I just listened to this interview (I think it was from the studio brussel show with those famous acoustic songs that made it up to the TDTH 2nd cd, but I'm not sure), and it's kinda funny the band was planning to release some Live live stuff in 2000 already (!!!) "coming up soon", Ed promised in 2000. And since that nothing has changed lol.gif god, take some action!! But oke, I don't know what it takes to do that in combination with the record comapnies etc, so I won't judge them eyebrow.gif but it's cool that (if they still have the idea that was in 2000 now in 2007) that they want to gather some different concert parts together, also the really old live recordings, would be cool!

ohw, and btw, it's funny that in this interview some of the elements that brought them to 'V' were already told 2:16 --> " we may do a fuck & suck album at some point " lol.gif
