I'm sure that everyone on this site has seen Live multiple times lol.gif .

If you have been to multiple Live concerts, where they were the main act, who was the best opening band guitar.gif you have seen before them?

Buffalo Tom

I had never heard of them and they totally rocked the opening act. This was probably back in 97. That goes way back in the day! Afterwards, Live put on a completely spectacular show.

Same here, but Lit was the best opening act I've seen for Live.

Not really opening bands since it was a festival, but I'll say Rusted Root and The Clarks before LIVE's headliner at the Rolling Rock Town Fair in 2005. Now, I've seen The Clarks many times before and many times after that show, but it was my first time seeing Rusted Root and it was a really good set.

Now, the Bloodhound Gang, who preceded Rusted Root, that was just awful.

Didn't know Ours and Lit have opened for Live. I'm curious, what year did these two bands open for them?

Lit opened for Live at a spot show at the House of Blues in Orlando in May 2002.

Ah yes, the period of pretentiousness. Figures.

Jimmie's Chicken Shack was just about the only band that ever opened for Live that I actually liked.

It would have to be a tie between Sugar Ray and Train.

I never really liked Train until I saw them LIVE but the lead singer really knows how to work a crowd. and anyone who covers LED ZEPPELIN well is awesome in my book

Yeah, I dug them a lot. I even had an album of theirs!

I also got to see G.Love and Special Sauce open in '97. That was cool cool.gif
