Ed was most likely too high and roasted to know what was going on during the taping of those videos.. Can't really blame him for forgetting about stuff..

The interviewer was most likely a set up by camp TGF as a rouse to drive down sales for Ed's album with an attack on Ed's character. Interviewers normally wouldn't know all the in's and out's about these details, he even mentioned the black coffee thing by name, there's no way he would have known this if he wasn't a TGF mole, I think Ed really got set up here.
