This is an interview of Ed with Faceculture. He was interviewed late 2008 there too, and that was one of the most revealing interviews ever maybe, ed talking so much about ANTHING Live related, how he met Pat, Chad, Chad, playing thier first songs, really nice.

Now they interviewed him again, and this must be the uhm... let's say most confronting interview since Ed's gone solo. I even felt a little sad for Ed. Only seen the first part of 5 so far, but the interviewer kept asking about the split up, why he wanted 100.000 lead-singer bonus, etc. Ed only says it's one big mistake and misunderstood, and wants to talk about the creative aspect of the new album. eh.gif

Haha, that third video (part I) is extremely funny, when the interviewer starts talking about the leadsinger bonus and the accusations. 'Can we just move on now'? 'I just answered you!' LMAO

What is the crap about lacking freshness... he wrote all the songs in the first place?

What difference does it make? He writes all songs on an acoustic guitar and then the band does their thing... what difference does it make, really?

Wow..

That was a VERY awkward interview. You can tell how uncomfortable Ed was about the questions about the lead singer bonus and the coffee deal. He clearly didn't want to clear things up or even speak about it.

His mannerisms during the group of questions clearly tell us that he knows he made some poor choices and decisions that he wouldn't know us, as the fans, to know about. So instead of answering the question directly, he danced around it.

Can anyone actually disagree with this after watching that interview?

Dude, more than worth it. I didn't watch all videos - crap about Alive and stuff - but the one about the break-up and accusations is pure brilliance. I laughed my ass off.

I tip my hat to the interviewer. First interview that I've seen where someone at least attempted to put Ed's feet to the fire and then actually press him a bit.

I ended up having to load it in Internet Explorer. Something about Firefox was keeping it from running though I'm not sure what.
