Ripping a much more successful act like Nickelback just makes Kevin Martin look like he has sour grapes.

The reason the suites stopped backing Candlebox was that they didn't sell albums after their first album. They were finished long before Nickelback came on the scene.

Dickface.....that date is summer....CB only has spring dates listed on their tourpage yet. Another feeble attempt.....the point was made that Ed doesnt update his webpage anymore. CB's is a whole new page as of 2 days ago.

KM doesn't have sour grapes. No that isnt the reason, you don't know anything about it. Why comment on the CB record label flap when youre totally ignorant. I used to work for Warner Music Group.....i know the reasons. Your answer is a flat out stab into the void. AS USUAL...COWARD

Ed has his spring tour dates updated on Facebook and his webpage. It is the same deal.

Candlebox took hiatus before Nickelback broke big. Kevin Martin has no reason to make Nickelback the scapegoat for Candlebox's lack of commercial success. Nickelback has a huge worldwide following, Candlebox has a decent US only following. The bands aren't even near the same plain of success.

He wasn't talking about commercial success.............he was talking about how theyve railroaded thier fans into cookie cutter music, no real changes....We aren't talking about that. He was talking about how the music industry force fed garbage to people.

Doesn't the whole world take the piss out of Nickelback? I don't know anyone that admits that they like them! Even the "Help keep Nickelback out of Australia!" Facebook group made it on the news here!

Publicly many do. However they have sold over 50 million albums worldwide and have packed shows basically everywhere they play.

Nickelback is the most hated band in the world.

Kevin Martin must care too. Why else would he knock more successful acts? Well maybe its just plain jealousy.

If Kevin Martin says a negative word towards Ed while on stage during the festival in August, it will just show how unprofessional he truly is. It shouldn't be about personal feelings, it should be about entertaining the fans.

The problem with Nickleback is that they cater to the stupid. They make cookie cutter music and peddle it off as rock music. It's the same damn garbage every record, and people are just entirely too stupid to realize it.

I'm fired up about this topic so I'm going to only add to it.

In Pennsylvania you have two types of Nickleback fans. You have the mid-life crisis 40+ year old who love it because it "rocks" and because it talks about "sex" and "drinking". Then you have the white trash demographic that loves it. Often times those two types of fans overlap.
