I can’t really pin point why Live have inspired me to start playing again – I guess I just haven’t been so incredibly moved and stimulated by music for a long time and perhaps it could have something do to with where I am emotionally in my life – I suppose people tend to connect more with music when experiencing big life changes…. or it could just simply be because Live are so awesome and nothing more :-P
 
I’ve learnt T.B.D, Selling the Drama and Ghost basically because they sounded like they might be fun to play... turns out they are lol

Welcome aboard! You'd be surprised how many young people like us there are on this board (I'm 24). If you stick around you will find all the live news here first and get access to unreleased tracks. In fact, it might be good for you to dig for them.

Hi all
My name is Andy. I'm 31 years old and reside in Brisbane, Australia. I've been a Live fan since 1995. I heard All Over You on a Hot 30 countdown and voted for it every night for a month.
My first Live concert was on their Secret Samadhi tour on 1997. I've been to five concerts and met the band through FOL on their 2000 tour.

I'm a long time lurker. Been visiting this site since its inception but have only had permanent internet access since last year.

My favourite Live album is Throwing Copper..my favourite album ever in fact..I loved Secret Samadhi and the Distance to Here. Both great albums in their own different ways. I enjoyed all songs on V, excluding OK?..perhaps the first live song i never enjoyed.

I love Ed as a vocalist. My favourite ever..I liked his delivery on Alive, even though the lyrics were shite. "Ham fisted cliches masquerading as deep poetry" - a quote from Who mag.. I still get drunk on his voice. Only exception was the accoustic sessions from circa 2000..especially on I Alone..gees..great way to ruin a great song. I'll never not buy an Ed K release though.

That said i am excited about the Chris Shinn era..I loved reading everyone's posts on the debut show. The excitement was tangible. And contagious..I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapter of Live. Hope to be a part of your board.
