Why do we, in Holland (or Europe), get Wings as a 2nd single, and why do they release Mystery in USA? Why a different single....?

..But thn again, I remember Like a Soldier and Sweet Release were singles, while they were never released here in Holland.

But does 2 different singles mean, we get 2 new video clips?? happy.gif

Guess it's the same when they released Sweet Release and Run Away for BOP. I wouldn't be excited about the video clips though, they're never very good tongue.gif

Maybe it's because they think certain songs will do better in different markets or something? A lot of bands do this, I remember when Rammstein brought out Mutter they released Links 2,3,4 in America and Sonne in Europe.

This happens with a lot of bands.

Back in 1987, U2 released two singles at one time. the USA got In God's Country as a single, while New Zealand got the much better One Tree Hill.

In 2004, Evanescence did the same thing. USA got Everybody's Fool. Europe got Imaginary.

It gets crazier. Collective Soul released both Heavy and Run simultaneously back in 1999, Heavy to rock radio and Run to Hot AC. These were both in the US. wink.gif

ohw they think we don't like Mystery here in Europe...?
so...we didn't sing along enough with that song in Paradiso last april?? lol.gif

Well we'll see, and no, I won't be excited about the videos smile.gif but The River was a little better than Runaway and Runaway ft Shelby, (the worst video ever !!!!!!), so there is some progress. The last good video by Live is Simple Creed, it had a good rock-look, although Ed in his red tight shirt wasn't really Ed I knew, but whatever, we'll see!!!

FOL reports that LIVE has confirmed that the second single off of Songs From Black Mountain will be "Wings" in Holland, and "Mystery" for all other countries.

Funny, because I've seen the video for Everybody's Fool numerous times on tv and I don't remember ever seeing/hearing Imaginary on tv/radio.
