The fact is that Ed's album greatly outsold TGF's overseas. The album sales were close in the US, but since Ed played and sold CD's at roughly 100 more shows than TGF has, I would think the sales advantage would be in Ed's favor overall.

Nick, what you fail to keep seeing is. Ed toured or tried to tour as LIVE and use that name and use those songs 80-90% in every show.

The Gracious Few, did not use their LIVE or Candlebox names. They went out like they were just any band starting out. However, the funny thing about it. A lot of times TGF would play a venue a few weeks after Ed had played it and each venue TGF outsold him in tickets. As a matter of fact at many venues Ed's tickets were given away as freebies. Musikfest in Bethlehem, 90% of the tickets were given away to friends and family of Artsquest and the radio station. At Mt. Airy last week, the casino GAVE away over 200 tickets. These are facts.

You can try to spin it anyway you like, but the fact is that Ed Kowalczyk is still actively touring, while The Gracious Few haven't toured in over a year.

I can spin this one too...... So when +LIVE+ goes on tour and Im at that show and you & Ed are not at that show and +LIVE+ sells about 10 times or more than EDDIE K - How would you like me to spin that. The train has left the station my man! This is ANOTHER fact.

Oh in addition - TGF is making more coin doing a free show down in South by Southwest than Ed made on his whole tour. When a fortune 100 company like Microsoft come to them and sponsors the show, whats that tell you?

TGF cant go on tour anytime like Ed can.... The boys have been very busy with other business ventures. In addition Candlebox just recorded an album due out in April so obviously TGF couldnt tour without a lead singer. TGF is the side project for both KM and C,C,P - however +LIVE+ is NOT their side project and +LIVE+ without Eddie K will do VERY well.

Let me also say to SJN that you claimed TGF was done in many threads.......only to be called a liar by all!!

They're not done........Live aint done....CB is now an ally!!! I'd give to see a Live, CB & TGF tour!!!

Sadly, Ed is choosing to cash in on the Live name when leaving to be a solo artist.

All talk. The fact is new LIVE hasn't done anything more than tweet and TGF gave up on touring long ago. One non-headlining show booked in over a years time is nothing to brag about.

A new LIVE will outdraw Ed on name value alone(something that Ed had a lot to do with). The name LIVE is the major draw not CCP.

TGF isnt done neither is LIVE. Again, CHAD, CHAD & PAT have other businesses than just music. TONS of BUSINESSES. They just cant go on tour. Thats all Ed has. he just has his music so he needs to tour to make money. However, when C,C,P do go on tour - It will be amazing shows because they will be doing it when they want to, not because they have to.
