to promote some healing lol what a crock! quit trying to sugar coat this for christs sake. Chad Chad and Pat are big boys they can reach out to Ed on their own and they know how to get ahold of him if they want to. they don't need to send some guy into an after show party to do it for them. thrill still hasn't answered the question on this.

I live 20 minutes from the venuw and a friend had tickets and invited me. So I went.
The boys saw my check in at the Casino. They text me and was asking what I was doing. I informed them I was going to the Ed K show. THEY HAD NO CLUE it was there or that day. So, they said "Oh, cool - if you get the chance to meet him, say hello from us and give him our love"
I said no problem.

This wasnt the only communication between the guys so its not like this was the first time in 3 years that C,C,P and Ed had "contact" etc. I was asked to say hello. I did. I saw and felt how uncomfortable he was so I left when I was asked. I didnt push the issue. I didnt feel spurned either. I can fully understand his side and why he didnt want no part of that. I fully understand that and I get it! If I was going there to cause a scene or disrupt his show or afterparty then thats a different story. I went, I had a good time and I previously gave my honest review of his performance. Ed did great! Overall the show was good and the crowd was into it and left happy. I personally wasnt a fan of the drummer and bass player, but then again there isnt a person on this board including Nick who can honestly say they think Ed's current drummer and bass player are better than Chad & Pat. If you even think they are close you really need to stop doing drugs!

figure it out for youself it that's possible. quit bein' so fuckin' dense.

If your insinuating I went there to "pick a fight" you way off base. I have plenty of people who can attest as to how I conducted myself at the concert. There were quite a few drunk people in the crowd who were obnoxious and disprecting the show. I personally told those people to shut up and watch the show or to leave. A few woman around me were happy I did that. In addition, I even made sure securtiy removed a female who was so obnoxious and falling over the stage and screaming like an idiot. She was calling Ed "JEFF" clearly she was in the wrong show, but she had to go! Again, if you think I went to cause an issue your way off base. We dont do shit like that and Chad, Chad & Pat would not approve of anything like that. These are honorable men we are talking about. THEY DO THE RIGHT THING.

It sounds like you needed to give Ed the background reference point of your affiliation to CCP so that the greeting and message of love they asked you to deliver to Ed had the proper context and would be received by Ed as a bona fide "hello and we send our love" from CCP. Ed lept to conclusions before you had a chance to say more and became defensive and wanted to shut down the dialogue and remove you from his presence. We don't know why, but presumably, he anticipated a confrontation or he just didn't want to have to face the issue of CCP. It is a man with a guilty conscience who immediately jumps to a defensive stance when approached by a delegate of those with respect to whom he feels guilty.

I like how this part can be transformed to whatever we as fans want it to be: "We don't know why, but presumably (fill in the blank)..." .

Put yourself in Ed's shoes. How many freaks has he had to deal with over his years in the spotlight. Take the word "delegate" in your response, and change it to "total stranger". The Thrll can explain who he is until he is blue in the face, but it still doesnt change the fact that he is/was a total stranger to Ed. The issue here is between 4 friends, former friends, whaterver you want to call them. He doesnt care to talk to them right now. Why would he talk to anyone else about it? Approach me about my ex-wife and see how I respond..

Its a man in the spotlight who immediately jumps to a defensive stance when approached by a stranger who wants to concern himself with business that is not his concern.

If I had to bet I'd say that Ed knew exactly who The Thrill was after he introduced himself, or at the very least believed him. I don't think Ed would go around ejecting every fan that brings up C,C,P.

I have met him before. However the last time I met him was at the Westbury, NY show.
There isnt a doubt in my mind that he knew who I was.

The Thrill was at the Westbury show, up front with some cutie delivering drinks ON STAGE to PATRICk every 2-3 songs, and back stage after the show

time for everyone to drop what they think happened and let it go!

Ed sounded ok , to even pretty good on most of the songs.
But, man his two band mates just can't compare to CCP.
I guess it isn't really fair to compare them, but the difference is just so noticeable.

It is three things. One, they are just not as talented. Two, they are playing songs that they have no attachment to. Three, Ed is the star and those guys are just there to be heard and not seen.

So I agree, it probably isn't fair to compare them to CCP.

And yet, I find it impossible not to when they are playing Live tunes. :|

I agree with your assessment, but would add a number four.
They just didn't sound in sync to me...I know I'm not using the correct terminology, but they just didn't "mesh" well, in my opinion. Almost like they should practice more.
