My wish is that everyone would kiss and makeup and stop ganging up on nick over all the stupid nonsense. Whether he is a "ED" fan or a "Live" fan he still a fan and you guys just love butting heads and fighting on a constant basis. For once i would like to come here and not see everyone going loonie over anything nick has to say. It really is getting kind of old and it seems like a few of you, [no names] are just a tad obsessed with him and can't just ignore. I can understand you don't agree with a lot of the things he posts but a lot of us others don't agree with things a lot of you regulars post either. It solves nothing to fight. We all have a right to be here and speak freely about anything live or ed related. It's what the forum is for. All i ask is to try and tone it down. Just ignore him or block him if he bothers you so much. We are all here for the same thing. The music and chatting about everything live. Can we at least try? No name calling...calling me an old lady...etc...I am not a bad person and i wish to get a long with all of you. So, can we all start the new year off to a good start? A new beginning if you will? I say we do it and i think it's would benefit us all. Please consider it? Cause i am really tired of it and i am sure many others are too. Let's try...just try.

It's not all one way traffic. If we try he has to as well. He's not some poor victim, he invites so much of what he gets, it's not that he loves Ed that he gets the most flak, it's his insistence on sticking around to hope Live fail without Ed. If he steps away from that and focuses on purely what he loves, that bring Ed, then he deserves to be cut some slack.

I dunno...I get a lot of laughs here! There is some really funny shit said at times! At first when I first joined, I'll admit, I was horrifed and ummm......scared, but now, I love the passion these (mostly guys) have and the stuff said that often makes me LOL in the middle of the night, scared I'm gonna wake the family up!

Just curious, if it's of a personal nature do you know him personally? I mean, have you ever met him? You would be surprised at how many people are rel douchebags on the net and then you meat them and they are nothing like that out of the box. take me for example...i am no angel and i can be the biggest ballbuster there is but i am a nice old gal. Maybe he would if you would all get off him and give him that chance. I don't think he thinks they would fail without him...have to admit.... It's just not going to be the same live. fact. Yes, we know this. But i'm sure he is going to give them a chance just like the lot of us will.

He's been given plenty of chances and this is an on going thing that just drags on and on. I'm more than happy for him to go on loving Ed and promoting him and whatever he wants to do there, that's fine, I'm over intentionally trying to get the Ed team riled up. What I wish he would stop doing is shitting on new Live, if he doesn't like it, that's fine, just move on. He's already said he won't give them a chance, he said he wants to be counted out.
it's definitely not going to be the same, it'll take some time to get used to, I can perfectly understand people having reservations, I mean I do, I can't say I'll definitely 100% love it all until I've heard it.

To be honest the whole thing just seems to be a case of retaliation now, someone will say something about Ed, he'll say something about CCP, so someone will say something about Ed in return, and he'll fire back about CCP. I wonder sometimes how much of what people say they actually believe or are they just going in to bat for their team.

Its just why I wish you just stick to what you like and stop shitting on the stuff you don't, life is too short to be spent taking pot shots at the enemy. In passing comment, maybe things will come up, but going into enemy territory as it were to intentionally ruffle feathers is getting old.
Let the people who are excited about new Live, and even the ones who are nervous but willing to give it a go, have their fun, if you already have decided you hate them and that they'll fail (which Nick has pretty much admitted to) then move on. If you can't stand the Christian stuff that Ed is drumming on about now in his songs with, then put him in the past and move on.

I know of many many people that have had direct personal experiences with that moron and each and every one of them thinks he is a complete fucking idiot. He speaks without thinking and causes trouble with his mouth by starting shit that he has no personal insight into whatsover.

With that said, the mentioned people who've had these experiences with him are some of the single most amazing, generous, compassionate and intelligent people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. People that I would do just about anything for.

Even over at SOY, he started making comments about Ed being a womanizer and "being high on something," when he actually had no clue as to anything of the sort. All after being given the opportunity to meet the band through the generosity of others. Spewing off speculative bullshit was how he paid back that generosity. Every single person over there from different countries across the world couldn't stand him.

So while I can surely understand your desire not to come here and read the constant bickering, you're defense of him and his lack of common sense and decency baffles me. Deep down, I've not one ounce of respect for him. I think he is a piece of trash not even worthy of the adjectives I've used to describe him here.

He is the single reason I do not post here anymore. Nothing to do with not being able to ignore him. It has everything to do with the fact that he acts like a 5 year old. He continually attacks EVERYTHING the other three guys ever did, or continue to do. It's childish, asinine, disrespectful and downright laughable. Becuase what does he know about those three men?? Absolutely fucking nothing. Yet he continues to sit there and judge them like he has some sort of authority on the matter.

I can assure you that I know more about those three men than Nick ever has or ever will. They are three decent, loving and generous human beings and his attacks on them at EVERY single turn is a fucking joke. He's not mature enough to EVER let it go and I've been watching him do it for two years now like a fucking child. Thing is, he does it out of spite....to defend the honor of his "ED fantasy" or whatever the fuck goes on in that warped brain of his. I think he needs to look in the mirror before he spends every waking moment tearing down three good people. Three good people who gave him years of great music before Ed decided to fuck them all over.

So again, while I do see your point, I see more clearly that you're just as big of a fucking douche bag for trying to defend a piece of trash like that who shouldn't be allowed to post here anymore IMO. Maybe some meds would be well suited for the both of you.
