I've heard this band on WBRU in Providence (college radio) the past few weeks.....so freaking good!! They've been around a while organizing and getting some EP's and a LP out. Looks like they got on a big undercard label (Atlantic) in order to get promotion. They are on the undercard for Foo Fighters this fall. (Nov leg). I see them returning to the US for a 3 night stint in Austin TX at the FFF Festival. Such an organic powerful trio!! Here they are from David Letterman this month!!

Perhaps they are a late addition as they are not listed on the lineup? We do have amazing festivals here though...seems like Congress Avenue is closed for some kind of event almost every weekend.

Best time of year actually. If you want heat stroke, you should come to the ACL Music Fest in September. I worked five of them: three years it felt like 3 billion degrees, one year it was a dust bowl (right after Katrina and Rita) and my final year was with a blood clot traveling through my body. I opted out in 2008 and went to Cabo San Lucas instead.
