You don't understand. It's not your "view" that isn't popular. I wouldn't even call what you have a view, more like an undying need to protect Ed's image as the almighty. And it's your tactics to do so that agitate so many. If you just like the guys music, then so be it. But that is hardly ever the basis for your so called "view".

Have i ever called you a name or attacked you verbally? Have I ever called anyone even half the garbage I get called on this board? People have attacked Ed way worse than I ever attacked CCP(I actually don't ever remember calling them anything remotely vulgar). I may have disagreed with some of their statements, and how they handled the breakup and reformation of LIVE, but never anything personal.

It's all about the music and after listening to how Ed's band butchers Live songs apparently he doesn't care about that.

Let me say, interesting stuff at the end of that video, seems to me that perhaps a little change of opinion from a few months ago when he said never with those individuals, now it's never close the door.....hmmmmmm

Perhaps he's realizing another year of touring on old hits of Live with a cover band may be met with not so favorable results?

The 'other thing' has been an entire year since his denial response.....perhaps he's getting docked for the venue advertisements Ed from Live, or Ed of Live. Perhaps a full circle of what's gone on? Perhaps he's read and heard from the once proud Ed fans who see what he's turned into? Perhaps, he sees the $$$?

Or perhaps.......As the verse from Luke:15-32 is stated.

Yeah, and for some reason it's smart for Ed to make money but for C,C,P it's desperation.

And perhaps he feels he's lost all his leverage with Live as he is somewhat limited legally, draws pretty small crowds to his US shows, sees Live moving on without him, and really can see the writing on the wall for his future. I'd like to give the guy the benefit of doubt, but when he starts yet another interview reminding everyone of just how much he did in Live it reeks of insecurity.

As far as the start of the interview I am really impressed that Ed took as much time as he did to talk about TC, SS, and TDTH. He showed a lot of patience with the interviewer that he has not shown in the recent past.

Overall, impressed with how Ed handled it.

And for the end - fuck this video. I watched it 3 times (twice on firefox and once on explorer) and it always cuts out around 5:40 and restarts. POS!

Ed heard the TGF album and knows what the next Live album will sound like.

He knows that if he had let CCP do what they do best then V, or at least BoP, would have sounded like the TGF album and Live would probably still be relevant today or would at least have maintained a higher level of dignity.

Instead they looked like some disinterested bums at concerts when they played anything post TDTH. Meanwhile Ed swiveled his hips and tried to dance instead of just rocking the fuck out and leaving people crying over the power and sheer what-the-fuckness of the performance.
