Its not really like sticking up for your beliefs though, its more being obsessed, that doesn't deserve respect. There's a reason Nick is the 1 in the 1 vs 100, is because he is something other than an Ed fan. Dancing Queen gave a really good neutral view of things, she enjoyed Ed's show which some of us may not, but she was focused on the music, was able to identify fault and negatives where there are some. I might not agree that I'd enjoy the show too, but I can tell she's being completely level headed and honest in her opinion and her appreciation for the music is clear.
Nick on the other hand by his own admission thought the crowd was most important, can't identify at all with the music or come to talk about it, can not find any fault and just acts like a man obsessed. I'd respect Dancing Queen's defense of Ed's show 100 times over before I respected Nick's because I know that she would actually be standing up for her opinion and belief where as Nick saying it was "a good show" is more than likely all for the wrong reasons.
Nick gets no credit.

At the end the setlist was as dead as the band!

Actually around the time of the SFBM tour, LIVE brought a lot of old favorites back into the setlist, and were routinely playing 2 hour plus sets. Even on the 2009 tour we got a few old gems back into the setlist(Top, Hold Me Up, and the Vic Chestnut cover).

I was attending concerts from 2000 to 2009, and from 2005 on, the setlists were much more varied.

Much more, but still in the grand scheme of things, not exactly fantastic. Some bands are able to totally shake up their setlist completely with each tour, hell some do it multiple times within a tour. These are generally bands that don't have only a few hits to cling on to in order to satisfy the casual fans.

But LIVE was never that band. LIVE maybe didn't mix their setlist as much as other bands, but they always gave their all on stage. If you went to a LIVE show you ALWAYS got your moneys worth(at least I did).

Such a big fan of +LIVE+ are you that you can't even give the title of the Vic Chestnut song (Supernatural) No surprise there.
