I won't belabor this new article but, the author missed several key points about live reforming w/o ed. Sounds as if that piece wasn't going to be allowed.....same old story though.......yawn.
She's also mis informed regarding the reason for the split.

When I feel down I watch that interview where the guy GRILLS Ed about the split and makes him squirm in his seat.

Now Ed knows how it feels when I listen to his music.

There is a lot of inaccuracy to this interview. 1. Ed did not write all of the music. Every true fan knows that is complete BS. The issue wasn't over who could perform any songs. Anyone can go play any song they want. Ed can cover a Beatles song or he can cover a song from LIVE. Nothing wrong with that. Its interesting that Ed ventured out on a solo career, however 90% of the songs he plays in concert are all LIVE songs.
I think the interviewer in this piece did a bad job getting to any facts, however she probably had a long list of questions that she could not ask Ed. Personally if I was a reporter, if I wasn't able to ask all of the questions that need to be answered, I wouldn't interview celebrities who's only reason they even agreed to be interviewed is to promote something somewhere. What you really should have asked him is why he was in a legal fight, how he feels that LIVE has a new lead singer and have moved on without him. Those are the questions that make for a great interview.
based on this interview one would assume his solo career is going great and that the venue is sold out for this local show. However, the reporter should go and find out how many album sales he has on his solo effort and how many ticket sales for the show.
Those two figures will give you a better idea and are more telling them this one sided promotion for Ed.

The interview was a piece to hype an upcoming show. It wasn't supposed to be a hard hitting interview. Whoever wrote the rebuttal obviously has an agenda.

I don't think it's an agenda. It's a honest rebuttal. Most of us know Ed stands down to the real questions. Her interview is full of inaccuracies. Did you get your kneepads with your tickets?

I would bet money that you wrote the rebuttal. You announced the posting of the article at 8:37 am, and the rebuttal was written at 8:59 am. Also the person who wrote the rebuttal, registered at the site today. You were also the only person who even knew about the rebuttal in the first place.

Whoever it was, was a "Gracious Fan".

Regarding the rebuttal, how did the lawsuit turn out for CCP? How many shows did TGF sell out with their 10 dollar ticket prices? Why did TGF suddenly abandon most of their lofty plans after only being a band for 1 year?

Ed may not be at his LIVE level popularity, but neither are CCP with Kevin Martin or Chris Shinn.

My question is if Ed stole their money, why was the lawsuit unsuccessful? Why would they ask him to come back to LIVE if "he stole their money?" It doesn't make sense.

Of course of instead of answering, you'll just put me down because you don't have a logical argument to back yourself up.

Where do you see the lawsuit being settled? Far as I can see it's not. I think he was asked to come back, not because the lawsuit is over, it's because they choose to take the high road and forgive him. Now legally the other shit is left to the attorneys. There is your logical arguement. I put you down becasue you say a lot of baseless nonsense. I answer you directly and succinctly every time. Everytime you are asked a question, you either ignore or ask a question back. You come at me with that shit and everyone sees what you do. Now I see that Dan let you off the hook on the bet.
