Well, the shows I've seen of Live weren't that short, and I honestly can't believe they never played 2 hour shows?
Their sets were sometimes even 30 songs long (around 2006).

I'm going to call bullshit on 30+ song setlists, especially if you are calling that the norm.

I don't remember ever seeing them and their set getting close to 2 hours. I more remember the 1 hr 15 min, to 1 hr 30 min sets.

It was not the standard. Ofcourse not. Neither were the 1h15 shows.

That must have been a once in a lifetime night.

I've seen most of their shows locally, and in those times they've played the following number of songs...

1995 Hershey, Pa - 18 songs
1997 Hershey, Pa - 18 songs
2000 Hershey, Pa - 13 songs
2002 Bethlehem, Pa - 17 songs
2004 York, Pa - 18 songs
2004 York, Pa Special Anniversary Show - 18 songs

Must have been nice to see them player longer, but it never happened for the home town crowds. That always blew my mind.

oke 17/18 songs is a lot shorter then I'm used to from them, but as you inlused several years through their carreer it may be near the standard in the end... hmm. I also think there's a ddifference between mainland and Europe/Aus indeed, never understood why.

yeah these longer sets were not the norm, they only did a few them in europe around the same timeframe:

http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/live/2006/ah...s-73d63a2d.html (27)
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/live/2006/co...y-6bd63a2e.html (21)

Aitkens, the Hershey 2000 show was 19 songs.

Pretty sure I remember at the time the 97 gig I went to was their longest till that point. Then in 2004 they played a pretty long show in Melbourne. Still it's not quite the 2008 Ween shows I went to, 3 3hr nights back to back with only one song played more than once, that was value!
