You know what the ironic part of this all is, its that myself, OTD, Aitkens, +Ed+, Funky, Fish ... we're all a million times the Ed fan that Nick is. Because we fell in love with Ed for his talents and his artistic abilities. Not because of how many albums he can sell, how smart he is catering to the casual fan or any of the bullshit that Nick likes Ed for. Because it's clear Nick is not about the music, where as everyone else is.

So why don't the people who are hesitant then take my approach, have faith in 3/4 of the band that they will still be able pull out something amazing. Hesitant yes, because maybe it won't work,but willing to jump on the ride and find out for ourselves rather than being completely dismissive before you've heard anything. Nick saying what he said is completely different to the majority of what people who are neither extremists for TGF or Ed would say. Nick is saying it as a means of putting CCP down and raising Ed's stock, as if to say they are nothing without him.
What's wrong in having a little faith to see where things go, and once you've heard it, if you don't like it, then fine move on to something else. But if you've already decided you don't like it, then move on because it's happening no matter what and bitching to CCP isn't going to do anything about it.

Why even give this guy the satisfaction of responding to him anymore? I think it's about time everyone just starts ignoring him.
