The other 3 parts of LIVE ripped Ed a part publicly and wanted nothing to do with him. Only once TGF's US tour wasn't as successful as they envisioned, and Kevin started touring with Candlebox again, did CCP start pushing for a LIVE reunion.

You are entitled to believe this, but I will call you out on your being incorrect 100% of the time, especially here.

I enjoy Ed with his new band. I enjoyed Live too. You are the one comparing, not me. I just see a lot of sour grapes on FansofLive now that Ed is doing well touring solo.

I have no sour grapes, it's about integrity man.....look it up as I know you never learned this golden rule. Eat that.

Nick - seriously, can you blame them? How would you react if you had been had by Ed like that?

If you don't think he knew what he was doing just go back and watch that interview again where he gets asked about it.

Every member had a role in the demise of Live because of what they allowed Ed to become, but Ed is the wedge that broke Live apart.

I liked Ed just as much as anyone here. I don't mind some of his new material. I just don't get why you don't see what he did and why you blame the rest of the band for feeling unappreciated, upset, and why they are trying to move on.

Honestly, if they just stuck around with him and what he was doing I'd lose a lot of respect for them and Live (it was all going in the wrong direction). It's just to bad they had to tarnish the Live name and release BOP, SFBM and Paradiso before they decided to stand up for themselves.

Nick - It's OK to follow Ed and enjoy what he's doing. If Ed comes around to my area I would be interested in going and would try to enjoy the show.

The differenct is I get it and I don't have the blinders on. Anybody that isn't jaded by Ed at least a little bit is totally a blind fanbody that just doesn't get what he did and what he's become.

All 4 members were responsible for Live's demise, but after 20 years people grow apart and want to explore new areas of creativity. Very few bands stay together as long as LIVE did.
I'm sure CCP have legit reasons to be upset with Ed, but taking airing their complaints via Twitter and Facebook is where my issue was.

Personally Ed has been nothing but good towards me since LIVE's break-up, and his shows are awesome. I have no reason to be jaded.

How long does it take for you to be for 20 years together with your wife?

Let me ask you this, how many marriages tend to work in this day and age? The odds are against us all.

Let me ask you this, how many marriages tend to work in this day and age? The odds are against us all.

Not many, it all depends on you. I am speaking as a man who is much more experienced in this question than you.

But you have not answered my question.

Even if you say that you still have 16 years or so to go, I bet that for now you are praying each day to keep it forever, even if your feelings are not even a half of what you tended to feel when you first saw-touched-kissed our future girlfriend before you even thought she would become your wife.

Families do fall apart. And you know what? That is when true friendship comes into place. Nothing more than a hug, a fucking depressing talk or crying out on jyour bro's shoulder works in a situation like that.

Anyway, I for one do not feel stressed about the fact that you lose your mind and support the idea you were once against (I remember your posts on SOY after Ed was a bitch to you). I can not simply bare the stupidity of it all.

Days go by in turns. One day I hate Ed and fucking wanna twist his testacles. The other day I am ready to cry because the man I respected the most in the world of music, did this to ME. Then I spin some TGF and let it all go, then I remember how Chad (STILL!) loves Ed and can not let his feelings settle.

Much to say. Nothing to do. I can not bare the thought that I hate Ed's solo work. I remember the day I first listened to Awake. It was 1 day before I left for a vacation in another country, in a remote countryside where there are no PCs, TVs or internets or whatsoever. And when I heard the first OHHHOOOHHOOOs of the first fucking song on Alive and then Jesus-child-god in the first coupla phrases, I fucking threw my player to the other side of the room with my girlfriend jumping up scared as I started screaming how he fucking owed us all at least a good album with all that we had to witness and all the shit that was pouring onto his bald head and out of his mouth at the same time.,,,

I am sorry for this post, but, fuck, it still hurts. Still hurts as hell.

If Ed ever bares with his fear and comes to Russia, I would go and see him even if I have to pay much. And I will do my best to catch him in the street after the show and fucking murd talk to him as I always wished to.

IN the long run you have not answered my question.

And I do not need it.

20 years is not a fucking excuse.

You might not have, but he's certainly trying to pass it off as Live.

The fact that you once said there were "no noticeable drop offs" between Eds band Playing lakinis juice heavily implys you believe it because any fan of live would see it was an absolute abortion and the voice was the only link to the past. If you couldn't hear it then you got problems. It was as plain to hear as KMs singing of the song.

If LIVE could get back together and thrive, it is obviously the best case scenario. However, if LIVE gets back and the feelings from 2009 still come through onstage, I'd much rather Ed stay solo.

There are tons of old acts still touring this summer. Live could have been fine.

Nick, Ed has done nothing personal to me either. He's still a dick. If Ed wanted to explore new stuff he sure could have went about it so much better than what he did.

So, you have no issue with disrespecting your band and stabbing them in the back, but saying something about it on Twitter just rubs you the wrong way. You can like his music but be real with what he did.

You should change your signature to read "Call Me a Fool!"
