No, but imagine The beauty of gray or Good pain with loud guitars ala I Alone. They would rock big time rockin.gif

I never thought of that, but yeah, that's a good idea.. that would have been an explosive variation.

I agree with those who say MJ is better than SFBM. The lyrics are better, i prefer the raw vocal style and come on at least on that album we can hear that the band has a bass player. sarcasm.gif It seems like Pat was sleeping on SFBM sleeping.gif
On that you guys can't disagree, i dare u.

I currently can sing better than Ed could at age 19, and write better lyrics, yet you don't see me with a record deal, now do you?

MJ has two good songs. The rest blow.

Again, I have to have a good laugh at that. I've listened to Mj a million times and can't see any resemblence to anything REM has ever made.

Pain Lies On The Riverside... that's fucking Orange Crush all over again but without the great guitar riff! And I don't even like REM that much. Ed even sings in that horrible throaty way that Stipe does at hte beginning of the song.

Now don't die laughing, will you as we really do like you around here, baby!

Sonically SFBM is much better than MJ. My problem with MJ is that it is very acoustic and Ed's voice is annoying. This album would be great if it was recorded nowadays with loud guitars but as it stands, many songs are not even listenable.

O lord. How many of you are smoking crack when you post. SFBM better sonically!!!!! happy.gif happy.gif happy.gif happy.gif

That's the only department MJ beats SFBM in.

Otherwise, MJ blows really hard.

HUH? And you don't? Like how you care to explain yourself. Another one with a big bag of crack and too much time on his hands.

You again? You're a FAIRY funny guy! The basslines in several songs such as PLOTR blow away any guitar work on SFBM. The drumming is way better. More alternative and complex. The music itself is far more creative as well. In summation, EVERYTHING about MJ blows away absolutely EVERYTHING about SFBM. Comparing them is ridiculous for that very reason. Anybody who can say that SFBM is better for any reason at all obviously knows fuck all about anything.
