Don't care what you believe really. I think it's quite obvious that overall, it's quite possible that worldwide, Honest Man will outsell Alive quite easily. Ed's album isn't selling anymore in Australia. It has absolutely no staying power without a second single that's even worth listening to. It will sink faster than SFBM did, it's already doing so. Grace is the only decent radio song on the album and even that sucks pretty bad.

People hearing Honest Man, then Appetite and possibly Crying game or whatever else, will keep whatever momentum this cd gets going forward. TGF will rule.

Well this poll started off good for Ed and now it's back to a huge swing towards HATE/DISLIKE IT.

It's too bad his release is so inferior in music quality to TGF's release.

Agreed 100%. Ed's album only sold a couple thousand copies because he still has fans left over from Live. Once they release how inferior his music is to TGF, they will buy TGF and support them instead in the long run.

I don't think most people see it as a head to head thing. The quality of TGF's music isn't related to what Ed puts out in any way.

I'll vote if I ever actually hear Ed's record

Another dissapointment from Ed!

lol. This is about as much activity and interest people have in his music.

I still like Grace and Zion. They're decent enough.

I've been listening to a ton of TGF lately so I decided in the car today I'd try a little Ed. It didn't last very long. I started skipping through the tracks and after about half way through Zion I switched back to TGF.

I have stated that I like the album, but I just wasn't into listening to it today.

Ok. So i have TGF's album and i have Ed's album.

Regardless of what has torn Live apart, whether it is the full story, half a story or simply a story it does not diminish the fact that we have two very talented groups of people who have produced 2 very different albums each in their own right.

All this hating towards TGF or Ed from both sides of the camp is pathetic. Cant the albums and artists be respected for their different paths and take each album and artist on its merits of difference. While one albums style may not be to somes liking, the other album may be and vice versa for the fan base.
Ed has produced an album in a direction he see's best and the sound of said record is fine by me. TGF has done the same and again it is fine by me.

Songs for me off TGF are Crying Time, Honest Man, Sing, Appetite, All I Hear. One or two that arent my style and the rest are still good.

Songs from Eds include, Grace, Drink, Zion, Soul Whispers, again as with TGF one or two songs which i dont rate and the rest are still good.

I will enjoy both of these albums regardless of why we have two seperate albums instead of one.
