TGF has a chance to outsell Alive in the US, since the band has focused all promotion on the country. Their tour is kicking off a week after the album release and all dates for the forseeable future are US dates.

Ed focused the bulk of promotion for Alive on the Netherlands and it payed off with a high charting album and very successful tour of Europe. Ed's initial US promotion for Alive was limited and focused on the Northeast.

Questions will begin to be answered starting this Friday.

I'm actually surprised that V2 and TGF didn't promote the album more in the Netherlands. I figured TGF would have visited prior to the album release.

I was also surprised that Sony didn't have Ed come to promote in Australia before Alive's release. If an artist shows face, it makes all the difference.
