QUOTE
Chad Taylor A word from me about The Gracious Few...enjoy and hopefully, you'll remember, I'm not the "magic" or the singer but I do love music with all my heart and always have. I won't let anything or anyone come between it ever again. I can't wait to see you in a hot, sweaty nightclub. Get your tickets and I'll see you soon!

There's a video blog kinda thing in which Chad performs a rendition of Closer with acoustic guitar and vocal. Has some interesting words too (EK...meh!) tongue.gif

Check it out.

I like the bit about not selling us coffee or phone calls. Self-aggrandizing prick...

Hey, CT is just keeping it real. It may be a swipe at what Ed is doing, but what EK is doing now as far as the self promotion is as far away from what the core of LIVE was as you can get.

Yeah, I had a look at Ed's online shop earlier. Pretty disgraceful all the shit he's selling, and how expensive it is. To say he's not doing much these days to make him a big name or anyone remotely relevant or worth having something signed by... he's just robbing folks.

He said what we've all been thinking. Brutal, yet refreshingly honest.

So much for the high road. I also think he should stick to back-up vocals, that was pretty painful to listen to.

Painful was 10 years of bullshit falsettos and hip thrusts. Go back to your bitch praising jesus and telling lies.

Being somewhat "painful to listen to" is part of the draw...if you get it. CT put it best himself once - guys like Johnny Cash and Tom Waits that have a rough voice but bring true feelings and real emotion and passion to music are more satisfying musically than some canned Idol shit. (American, not Billy). Its raw, real and imperfect. Love it!! Go CT!

(I do think that the coffee and phone call jabs might be a bit low, and something he may apologize for later... obviously he's been stung pretty hard by Ed and is working to channel that pain and anger into TGF music, but the occaisonal jab is gonna get out. He's human, and I admire him for putting his feelings out there).

Your taste in music has already shown to be pathetic. You don't care about emotion or lyrical content. All you care about is a song/albums commercial ability. You're a joke.
