Just wondering if anyone knew the answer?


Presale tickets available now for The Gracious Few tour. Every ticket includes a download of the single "Tredecim," an official tour laminate mailed before the show, autographed tour poster (which you can pick up at the merch booth), and early entry to the show. You will receive an email with more detailed instructions before show date.

Yeah it's a bit strange, I thought they'd said it before that Tredecim would be a single .. not sure I really agree with it. I think it's an awesome, awsome song .. but not sure about a single.

I bet they are calling it a single as a free digital release or smth. They did release it already I feel, like, for a free dload? So it is not a NEXT single. Honest Man was one, Tredecim was one. That's it I guess

I think you guys are looking at the term "single" too narrowly. It doesn't really mean the same thing it used to. A single can just mean what they've already done: releasing it for free to the fan community and to potential fans. Not the full on radio push that you see with certain songs.

I believe Tredecim is not the next single. I think Appetite will be the next single. I seem to remember reading here that Kevin Martin made mention of this onstage during a Candlebox show. I am not 100% certain. I'd like to see multiple singles out together. More exposure.

I do know that they want to get as many songs into the ears of the listeners and release, a term which can be deemed unofficial/officia,l as opposed to how the industry does things.

I strongly believe the paradigm is changing. Or at least needs to change. If we're learning anything, it's that the industry doesn't seem to be too interested in giving the people what they want. So the smart bands and artists are taking matters into their own hands.
