By the way, I don't care if anyone has downloaded TGF or Ed's music, so long as you PURCHASE it when it becomes available.

Yeah, me too. I also like to buy the albums from the band's website instead of Best Buy or something, even if it costs a little more, because I get the impression that they make a little more $$ if I buy it from them. I did it will Live. I did it when I pre-ordered Alive. I will do it with TGF. If I want to support a band, I will try to put $$ in their pockets to make it worth their while. The enjoyment that I get from the music and the subculture of this community far outweighs the cost of an album, a T-shirt and concert ticket.

good song, but like everything else nowadays, the dynamics are squashed....everything is exactly the same volume.....I hate that bands ruin their work by doing this in the mastering stage.

Everyone buy the stuff. I read an article on AA where the cd sales industry is in the total shitter.

Hope TGF allows direct buy of the CD from them. Id rather them get most of the royalties.

I have a bet to keep.

I'm not sure there were really a lot of dynamics in this song to begin with, its a rocker from start finish.

This wouldn't be the song to judge the mastering process, IMO.

I just read an interesting article. Since CD sales are so poor, the "Melvins" were able to get their latest album in the Billboard Top 200 by selling just 2,809 copies. (Position 200). If they had sold another 2,000 albums they would have been in the top 100!

I reckon there's a good chance that both Ed and TGF could make the top 50 if all of their Facebook "fans" actually ponied up the cash to buy the album.
