I think it's more normal and better to hear a song like Don't Wait or Stil Aroused without Ed than a Lightning Crashes or Run to the Water without Ed.

Good point.

But I'd rather them not to perform Live at all, as stated already

If I had the choice to let them play some songs it would be quite difficult for me to choose,....

I want ofcourse some great songs, which really challenges the skills of CT, CG and PD and also suits Kevin's voice.

So it should be loud and rough.

I don't think I want to hear them play Live songs either, because I still have Ed'svoice in my head with those songs.

But if they want to, then please use some songs which they have rarely played in the passed, and hopefully they will play them out loud.

Next to that, I am very curieus if they are going to play all the songs of their album, because that would be the biggest and best promotion.

And for some songs to be covered by TGF...hmmmm let them try some old songs of Bad Religion (Punk Rock Song) or AC/DC (You Shook Me All Night Long) or Aerosmith (Dream On or Mama Kin) or even Alice Cooper (School's Out), maybe a little Led Zeppelin (Black Dog) eyebrow.gif some examples for Old School Rock songs.

I just want to be Entertained with the Best TGF can give us on this moment! rockin.gif pat.gif IPB Image

I guess the good thing about them choosing more obscure Live songs is that for the most part, at least gig-wise we won't be used to hearing it with Ed's voice, so it would be harder to compare ... if they busted out songs like Don't Wait, Cheetah or even New City (which Chad has teased before!) then it'd be less of a shock than trying something which we associate much stronger with Ed's voice.

Sorry to re-kindle a thread from last week but, just been listening to MJ, and I can't help but think a few songs on here would be great with KM on vocal:

Waterboy

Mother Earth Is a Vicious Crowd

and 10,000 Years (Peace Is Now)

I know it's probably best if they left LIVE tunes alone, but IF they had to, I'd like to hear these ones. thumbsup.gif

Thoughts, if any?

We should wager for bragging rights on what (if any) Live/Candlebox songs they'll play tonight.

Stage!

EDIT: I'll also guess "Unsheathed" and "Where Fishes Go"
