Not to change the subject from OTD's super secret contract with the TGF to promote them incessantly in exchange for meet and greet tickets ( wink.gif ) but I'm still trying to decipher one line from the chorus from the song:

"For days upon days I've sailed for your shores
these waters between us are crashing and cold
I said I could change for your season I would,
I said I could change
No house for my rages secure in disease

your beaches are littered with death and debris"

Does that sound correct? I'm pretty certain the end lyric is, it's the bolded part I'm still futzing over.

Ok that's fine. An admission of the street team. So you don't get perks for that? Do you have to pay for his wares? And you have every right to listen to what suits you.

I've gotten zero perks, because I don't want any. I just want to help out Ed because I believe in his music. Unlike you, I'm not helping out my favorite artist in order to win a VIP package.

Dude that's a bit rich, come on. Maybe they chose him for his efforts, I dunno .. but I seriously doubt that Bob thought or knew he was going to win. If you won a "random" contest from Ed and people had a go at you for being "in on it" I doubt you'd be very happy.

Totally, we'd heard the riff before quite a bit in their videos and it always sounded a little generic and unfinished (which it was obviously), so i guess I just assumed it'd end up being a song on the album that bored me .... loved being wrong in this case!

TGF wanted their fan numbers up, so they promised concert announcements and a random fan contest once they reached 10,000 fans on Facebook. They delivered on neither count.

So far we've seen 2 concert announcements. Really what are you talking about?

You seem to know a lot about TGF for not liking their music.

Let it be, and let us Gracious Few fans be in peace. Thank you.

So what? You don't even like their music, what's it to you?

Doesn't effect me cos I'm in a country where winning would have done nothing for me, nor would the concert.

Ed said that BOP was going to be like Throwing Copper, see how not everything people say ends up being true?

Thanks Pokey. I had no clue until they contacted me. I was promoting hoping to win. First thing i've ever won in my life, honest.

I think it is "I said I could change for your seas and I would"

seas makes sense when putting it with words liks sailed, shores, beaches etc..

Agreed, it sounded funny when written down. "Seas and" fits with the lyric much more nicely. Thanks!
