thanks for posting!

I just start realising how much of the 'newer' songs Ed had written, has one-word-titles...

Mystery
Show
Wings
Sofia
Home
Forever
Purifier
Zion
Grace
Drive

Not that it says anything about the song itself, but remarkable tho.

True .. but then you also had

Ghost
Freaks
Top
Iris
Rattlesnake
Meltdown
Sun
Waterboy
Negation
Merica
Heropsychodreamer

The thing I find interesting is that the older song titles for the most part just sound a lot more interesting than the newer ones even.
If someone told me I could listen to either a song called Drive or Wings or a song called Heropsychodreamer or Ghost .. I'd have to choose the latter ones without even knowing the songs.

But names like "Freaks," "Rattlesnake" and "Heropsychodreamer" are far more interesting than "Drive" or "Grace."

Yeah, you are right, but when lookin to more recentl songs (SFBM and a couple of songs that came after that release) there seem to be many of them, whereas the songs you mentioned are from 4 (or 5 when you count FS wink.gif ) albums.

ohw, and ofcourse I forgot Believe!

And I agree with you that while time passed, not only the lyrics got less interesting, but the titles as well.

Would the (let's say) "'95-'97 Ed" ever choose a title like "She" ? And a title like "Heaven" is so much more boring (although I like the song) then the early "Heaven wore a shirt"

WAAHAHAA! Watch the gal grab her bag during AOY. She is more concerned of what is inside than with Ed on stage!

You get people like that every show. Judgeing from the Beauty of Gray youtube video, the majority of the sold out crowded looked like they were into the concert.

Wow. I do not really expect passengers (as we call em, do not know the correct English word for that) in the fanzone, or the vip zone, whatever you call it, 3 metres from the stage. Last time I was that close during a Ian Brown show in my city a month ago and believe me, the closest crowd was totally mad, while for sure in the back the loosers were all sited, drinking beers and watching each other have another cigarette.

Sometimes VIP's make the worst fans for a show. When it is a general admission pit, the fans are insane by the stage. Reserved seating is a crapshoot.
