ILP is for Integral Life Practice, part of Ken Wilber's integral approach (more at integralinstitute.org). I guess Level 2 is 'the next step' smile.gif

(the following applies to The Netherlands)

The standard version of the album will be released April 10 and might be available from outlets as soon as April 7. Several shops will provide a special reduction voucher for the Ahoy Open Air festival with the album. The DualDisc release of the album with the voucher can be purchased at the Paradiso gig (April 8th) and it will be available for general purchase from April 12 (without voucher). Happy shopping smile.gif

Did anyone get a response from Epic? I wrote them but received nothing in return. As of now, Epic is way worse than Geffen when it comes to timely release dates and radio airplay for the single. If it is going to be released May 9th, not a smart move removing it from online stores and stopping the single's push a month before album release.

wow.gif what a joke..............

So either Epic is:

a. not releasing SFBM in the US
b. delaying the release of the album once again
c. promoting LIVE worse than Radioactive or Geffen ever did

I'm guessing all the major online companies pulled the US release because they figure sales in the US will be virtually non-existant.. probably below 10,000 for the first week and then sales will stop after that. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last Live album we'll see. Sony could push this album all they want, but unless you're a Live fan, album #7 really wouldn't interest anyone.

in nick's defense, this is damn odd.

i'm kind of confused why it would be pulled from websites if it was really coming out on may 9. if amazon gets even one sale online, it's worth the effort and bandwidth to have it up for preorder.

this is just weird.

It is a little strange, but honestly it's going to come out soon .. in America it still looks like May 9th as far as most people close to the band seem to be concerned (Ed and Jimmy for example). So far with all the push backs there has been news posted on friendsoflive not too long after with the announcment and thus far there has been nothing so, why worry?

If it does get pushed back then it probably is because of all the other stuff that is being released at that time which they are scared will takes sales away from it. Doesn't really seem like they have much faith in it if that's the case though. It's fair enough I guess, if you put a poor album out by a band that hasn't had it's name up in lights with some of that stuff, most noteably they RHCP, it'd get crucified.

I can't imagine Sony would sign the band, then have the band go out on a US tour (however limited it may be) if they were not planning to release the album in the US. Delay is the most likely scenario IMHO, but why delay only the US release? For that matter, I also don't understand why they were scheduled to be released a month apart in the US and everywhere else, but that is another issue altogether.
