I actually have to say Creed. Don't get me wrong - I would rather listen to "Pip farting on a snare drum" (any Airheads fans?) than Nickelback, but Stapp's voice made my skin crawl. At least with Nickelback, you know you're going to hear the same song 10 shitty times on one album. Creed is 10 DIFFERENT shitty songs on one album. So in my book, Creed is actually 10 times worse than Nickelback.

Ditto - I find it disturbing. Stappy's voice is just so overwrought - with all that straining and fist clenching, I keep expecting him to either cough one of his kidneys up or give birth to a horse.

I like both bands. I daren't go further into it...

At the time of their popularity, I thought they were the same band. I voted creed because I feel they have less talent. I visited the nickleback songs at the same time from that link... I could tell the difference but don't get me wrong, I still hate both

If the lead singer of Creed wasn't such an amazing phony hypocritical douchebag, they would not be too bad in my book. The music is more than tolerable to me. It's really lame that they broke up, each of their side projects failed commercially so now they must be desperate for cash to get back together. Winner by narrow margin, but I can't take them seriously anymore so please retire! (By winner I mean sucks less, so actually the loser in this competition)

Nickelback just sucks! I have to change the radio every time one of their songs comes on they suck so bad. Haven't heard one tolerable song from them. Videos confirm their suckiness. Because they are commercialy successful confirms my belief mainstream radio blows.

Alter Bridge is Creed with a different and much much better singer. The first Creed album is a solid piece of music and I would take that any day over the last 3 Live records. Mark Tremonti is a really good guitarist. Don't care for Nickelback.

Same freakin' band

I stand by this. Both are decent enough, and have each made some really cracking songs. I'll never understand the hate for either, I think it's probably just jealousy because they've both had big success. *shrug*

I think they both suck pretty bad, but Creed is much MUCH worse. Nickelback put on a great Live show, no matter how redundant their music is. Stapp shows up drunk and the band sucks just as bad sober. Creed is utter garbage with no redeeming quality whatsover. Nickelback is entertaining in concert at least.
