I was wondering if anyone on here had any connections to Sony/BMG or Epic Records. They don't seem to be pushing "The River" all that hard yet. There is no doubt in my mind that this song can be a huge radio single. I was wondering if they were going with the slow push for the son., perhaps waiting for the albums release ala Heaven. Promotion has been strong in every area except US airplay.....I am just wondering what the deal is. What are the label's expectations for SFBM(sales etc.)?

If anyone knows or would like to guess and speculate go for it smile.gif

The River barely lost its bullet this week. Its make or break time for the song. This song could drop off the charts before the album is even released unless Epic gets its act together. My opinion and I stand by this, if Epic can't make a hit out of a song this catchy, they don't deserve to be in business.

I have a connection with Sony. And I have no desire to find out any information. I want to see how they handle it all on their own. So far I'm pleasantly surprised. If the release date of the album was pushed back to coordinate with shows in NYC - FINALLY - the #1 radio market - 15+ million listeners over the age of 12 - then I would think someone there actually knows what they're doing.

Well I am hearing the release date may be pushed back past May 9th. The album has been removed from every online store except the Sony/Epic store. Why would these retailers remove the album if something wasn't up?

Buying compact discs with Sony's label on them doesn't exactly constitute a connection with them.

Bitch, are you fucking crazy? You really think I want a message board slut who thinks but looks NOTHING like a made-up Morissette?

I think the loser here is the one who likes boys half her age and can't get a real man. Sorry Pokey.

You better die trying or don't try at all or you'll end up like one of those old hags who's got nothing but birds and cats.

Dude even if you haven't, it's still fun to think that you're making a new account each day, quit wailin' on my fun cool.gif I might be in the small majority but I think some of this shit you've pulled has been pretty hilarious and most people you have a go at stems from something .. but I can't work out the reasoning behind wanting to throw birds on the BBQ.
