I also don't like the harmonica addition on Purifier. It's a good song, but still nothing like the days of just good old Live without the "help" of harmonicas and dubbed over voices and farting in a can sound effects. Take that harmonica and stick it up John Popper's ass for all I care, I wanna hear Pat slammin his bass or Gracey owning on the drums. That said, Beautiful Invisible is still pure shit. I'm as nice as they come believe it or not, as tolerant and understanding as they come, and that song is as gay as possible. I know many beautiful women who are truly girly girls and they can't even stand it. It is SO GAY!

Look, I'm sorry about BI and The Ride.

Sorry for the songs, not my comments.

When I heard about BI, I was expecting, y'know, maybe something between Nobody Knows and EISYF, some sort of sweet little love song. We got something between Horse and... horseshit, I guess. I know the quality of a song isn't the only factor in whether it makes an album (I mean really, look at Hold Me Up, Don't Wait, Vine Street, etc) but damn, BI would have made an already average album worse.

As for The Ride, sure, the sitar is nice. Lyrically though, I think Ed just gave up trying.

But hey, to each his own...

Don't apologize for BI because it's a sweet song, and don't classify it with The Ride because The Ride sucks.
